How do I get rid of soap scum in my shower?

This indeed is a great question that every individual ask frequently. Let me enlighten you, what exactly a soap scum is? It is the common term used to describe the white solid residue that results when soap mixes with hard water. Hard water basically contains calcium or magnesium that reacts with acidic components of soap to produce lime soap. Soap scum is generally that yellowish ring spread around your bathtub or floor. This is the result of the residue left after every bath. If you delay in cleaning this thick froth would be very difficult to clean. As the time passes, all the water minerals that are responsible for this residue become hard with time.
In fact, Soap scum is not only dirty soap mixed with water but also consists of dirt, dead skin, bacteria and body oils. Nobody would want to bath near such area.
Luckily, I am a professional cleaner working for a recognized end of lease cleaning company in Melbourne.
